The ERDT enVision Group Homestay Programs can be specifically tailored to the needs of the overseas partner.

Group Specialized Programs for University Students-Youth Cultural Exchange (YCE) and Cultural Exchange and Homestay USA: 2-3 week homestay cultural & social program with an emphasis on investigation of social and institutional organizations in the U.S. During this specialized program, participants live with American host families and gain a deep cross-cultural experience and understanding of American family and social life in a real-world setting. Activities include visits to various U.S. institutions—educational, public service/local government, and non-profit organizations—to foster a thorough understanding of American society, as well as full-day recreational excursions in California.

Group Homestay Programs: Tailored for junior high and high school students: these programs can be customized to meet the specific needs of overseas partners, providing participants with cultural immersion experiences in the U.S.

In each program, participants are supported by Exchange Program Coordinators (EPCs) in the local community, who provide an orientation upon arrival, and assistance throughout their stay.  ERDT enVision carefully matches participants with host families that align with their personalities and program objectives, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience. All host families are required to undergo a background check and are visited and interviewed in the host family home by the local Exchange Program Coordinator EPC).
