The ERDT enVision Group Homestay Programs can be specifically tailored to the needs of the overseas partner.
Group Homestay Programs: Tailored for groups of junior high, high school, and university students, these programs can be customized to meet the specific needs of overseas partners, providing participants with cultural immersion experiences in the U.S.
Youth Cultural Exchange Programs (YCE) for University Students: 2-3 week homestay cultural & social program with an emphasis on investigation of social and intuitional organizations in the U.S. During this specialized program, participants live with American host families and gain a deep cross-cultural experience and understanding of American family and social life in a real world setting. Participants will visits to various U.S. institutions—including educational, public service/ local government, and local non-profit organizations to have a thorough understanding of the American society. Participants also have the experience full-day recreational excursions in California.
In each program, participants are supported by Exchange Program Coordinators (EPCs) in the local community, who provide an orientation upon arrival, and assistance throughout their stay. ERDT enVision carefully matches participants with host families that align with their personalities and program objectives, ensuring a meaningful and enriching experience. All host families are required to undergo a background check and are visited and interviewed in the host family home by the local Exchange Program Coordinator EPC).
